Reliant was founded in 2017 to service non-emergency medical transportation patients. When we founded the company we were on a mission to address a few critical questions:

Patient Critical Questions

  • How important is non-emergency medical transportation?
  • How long is too long to wait past an appointed pickup time for non-emergency medical transportation?
  • Is it okay to be so late for a non-emergency transportation pickup that the patient misses his or her dialysis appointment, wound care appointment, doctors appointment, transfer appointment, or hospital checkout (and patient has to stay another day)?

Our answer:

Every non-emergency transportation is important and sometimes involves a team of people that are coordinating to make a medical appointment

Our solution:

Be on time.

That is our business model. Be on time and get our patients directly to their destination without delays, interruptions, or cancellations for any reason. We do not service or prioritize emergency transportations.

Our business model makes it less expensive for the patient, the insurance provider, and any facilities involved, and our service is, by far, more reliable than a sole provider model that has to give non-emergency transportation requests second priority, behind emergency transportation requests.

Reliant has only one class of transportation for non-emergency patients – first priority.
